The 15 Foundations of Project Galileo
“leaving the World better than we found it”
The 15 Foundations of Project Galileo (the “Foundations”) were designed to support strategic humanitarian and environmental work within each of our 4 Host Countries (Haiti, Georgia, Thailand, and The Philippines), and throughout the rest of the World. Each of the 12 Funds of Project Galileo will be assigning ten percent (10%) of its net pre-tax profits to one (or more) of the 15 Foundations. The City of Science Fund (the largest Fund, with a capitalization of €50,000,000,000 EUR), will be supporting a total of four (4) Foundations. All other Funds, each with a capitalization of €7,500,000,000 EUR, will be exclusively supporting just one (1) Foundation apiece. Each Foundation will have access to the 300 Technologies of Project Galileo, including numerous sustainable/green technologies. The 15 Foundations will be advised by L’Institut, a Consortium Member Organization representing an active, mobile think tank for economic development and social, cultural, and environmental preservation of each of our Host Countries. Each Foundation will represent an independent organization within the Consortium, and will be based on, and will be adhering to, both environmentally and socially constructive principals. A brief description of each Foundation is given below:
THE UNIVERSITY OF THE CITY OF SCIENCE FOUNDATION
The University of the City of Science Foundation will be constructing 3 new universities within the planned Terrestrial Cities of Science™, and an online university as part of the Virtual City of Science™. It will also be developing educational and interactive programs for the Mini City of Science™ in Thailand. This Foundation will be generating educational techniques, and standards, which should rival those of the great universities (and preparatory schools) of the World.
THE INNOVATION EXCHANGE FOUNDATION
The Innovation Exchange Foundation will be seminal in designing, founding, and setting the standards for our 3 primary junior stock exchanges, known as the “Innovation Exchanges™,” located within the Financial Districts of each of our 3 Terrestrial City of Science™. The Innovation Exchanges will be designed to generate equity capital, via junior listings, for SME’s which are formed around the 300 Technologies of Project Galileo, and other technologies or innovations, in every economic sector represented within each Terrestrial City of Science™ (and its Host Country). The Innovation Exchange Foundation will also be sponsoring the Virtual Innovation Exchange™ located within Project Galileo’s Virtual City of Science™, and will be advising the Consortium on the creation of the First Nations Stock Exchange™ and the Virtual First Nations Stock Exchange™.
THE EDUCATION & LITERACY FOUNDATION
The Nation of Haiti, one of the 4 present Host Countries of Project Galileo, regrettably suffers from almost 40% illiteracy – a rare and horrifying statistic among nations in the Western Hemisphere. This represents approximately 4,000,000 persons, for whom even the rudiments of education have not as yet been provided. The Education and Literacy Foundation of Project Galileo will work hand-in-hand with the City of Science Foundation to create special schools and educational programs, throughout the Republic of Haiti, and in other countries struggling for 100% literacy, to address this crying need.
THE CLEAN WATER & SANITATION FOUNDATION
The Philippines is plagued by numerous development issues, including the lack of proper infrastructure for the distribution of clean water to its citizens. The Clean Water & Sanitation Foundation will be active in utilizing a select number of the 300 Technologies of Project Galileo to purify urban and rural water sources, and sanitize water delivery infrastructure, for the Philippine City of Science™ planned for Subic Bay Freeport Zone, throughout the Philippine Archipelago, and in other relevant countries throughout the World.
THE OCEANIC FOUNDATION
The Oceanic Foundation will be established in Cabo San Lucas, Mexico, on the Sea of Cortez (which was referred to by Jacques Cousteau as the “World’s Aquarium”). One of the key tasks of this Foundation will be to generate a genetic record (and database) of 3-D images of the World’s sea life, and all other aquatic life forms, commencing with a “scan” of the plants, animals, and fungi of the Sea of Cortez.
THE BASEBALL FOUNDATION
Baseball is an old-fashioned sport, which brings forward many of the values of bygone epochs, and is unassailable as a character-building activity. New techniques of pedagogy, enhanced training facilities, and the incorporation of social media, can generate a culture of respect, and a new generation of talented and well-trained players, who can participate in both local and cross-border tournaments throughout North America.
THE DISASTER RELIEF FOUNDATION
Disaster relief efforts are often “too little, too late,” such as in the case of the mismanaged struggle to feed survivors of Typhoon Yolanda (2013) in the Visayas Region of the Philippines. The Disaster Relief Foundation of Project Galileo will make every effort to exercise strong command and control policies, deploying Foundation Personnel and resources efficiently, utilizing the transportation assets of Imperial Guard Security Group (“IGSG“)–one of the 5 Consortium Member Organizations, and drawing upon emergency volunteers from the 10,000-strong global Staff of the Consortium, so it can react rapidly in the event of environmental and humanitarian crises, and provide maximum benefit to the survivors.
THE MEDICAL FOUNDATION
Project Galileo’s Medical Foundation will focus firmly on R&D, including ethical stem cell research, and will support the patenting, marketing, and distribution of medical equipment, herbal and traditional medicines, and the codification and dissemination of breakthrough medical innovations. A particular focus will be on research derived from the indigenous medicinal practices of First Nations found within each of our Host Countries, including discoveries made by L’Institut.
THE CHRISTIAN FOUNDATION
The Christian Foundation of Project Galileo will concentrate its efforts on good works such as the restoration of historic churches within established Christian Communities, including those damaged by war and civil strife. It will also strategically execute beneficial programs for underprivileged persons throughout the World. It will further be coordinating its efforts together with CBank™, Project Galileo’s Christian Bank, to support both Christian Communities and good citizens of all religious persuasions.
THE ENDANGERED SPECIES FOUNDATION
In an era of mass extinctions, The Endangered Species Foundation has an immense challenge, but whether via the implementation of special breeding programs, or the purchase and creation of nature reserves, every effort will be made to save as many animal species of the Earth as possible, both in the Persian Gulf Region and within the borders of our 4 Host Countries, using every resource that this NPO, backed by the full force of the Consortium, has to offer.
THE ARTS FOUNDATION
Artistic talent, the fuel that drives both the visual and performing arts, is one of the greatest forces, and allies, of civilization. The Terrestrial Cities of Science™ will tangibly support artists, architects, craftsmen, and performers, including the imposition of budgetary requirements on property developers within our Terrestrial Cities of Science™. We intend to support the generation of good design and artistic embellishments, as a pre-qualification for the construction of all governmental, commercial, and residential infrastructure within each of the 3 planned Terrestrial Cities, and within the Mini City of Science™ in Thailand.
THE BUDDHIST FOUNDATION
Project Galileo’s Buddhist Foundation will be concentrating its efforts on good works, within predominately Buddhist Countries, such as the restoration of ancient temples and monasteries, many of which were either destroyed or greatly damaged during the 20th Century. This Foundation will also be supporting the creation of a well capitalized Buddhist Bank, which will support Buddhist communities on a long-term basis.
THE ORIGINAL GROWTH FORESTS FOUNDATION
Original growth forests are a limited commodity, which must be preserved at all costs. Forests which have been destroyed can and should be restored, such as the natural jungle which has been devastated in the Republic of Haiti. Project Galileo has the capital, and technology, to back this effort, and the Original Growth Forest Foundation will be busy, indeed, in our 4 Host Countries and in every corner of the World.
THE WATER CONSERVATION & MANAGEMENT FOUNDATION
Australia is a Continent which has long had the need for action concerning water conservation and management. Based in Melbourne, The Water Conservation & Management Foundation of Project Galileo will be engaging in select projects throughout the Australian desert regions, and within our 4 Host Countries, and will be concentrating primarily on the development and deployment of conservation technologies.
THE MICRO-FINANCE FOUNDATION
The MicroFinance Foundation of Project Galileo will be active in assisting the poorest communities of each of our 4 Host Countries to organize small, cash-flowing businesses which can and will grow to become big businesses, eventually employing thousands of people. Select growth companies are expected to eventually apply for listing on our Innovation Exchanges™.
