1.) Overview

The Project Galileo Website is © (Copyright) 2021 Project Galileo L.P., all rights reserved.  These Terms of Use have been revised as of June 28, 2021.

These Terms of Use set forth the rules governing your use of Project Galileo Group’s official Project Galileo Website (the “Project Galileo Site” or the “Site”), located at:  www.projectgalileo.com.  By accessing the Site, you consent to and accept these Terms of Use (also referred to herein as the “Rules”).  The words and phrases “You” and “Your” refer to you:  the end-user accessing the Site.  The words and phrases “Our Organization,” “Ourselves,” “We,” “Our,” and “Us” refer to Project Galileo Group (inclusive of its Holding Company, its Subsidiaries, and Project Galileo—its main project).

Project Galileo Group may, at any time, revise these Rules by updating this posting.  You are bound by such revisions and should therefore visit this page, to review the current Rules, from time to time.

Project Galileo Group maintains https://projectgalileo.com (/) and related sites for your personal information, education, and enjoyment.  Please feel free to browse, download from, and otherwise use the Project Galileo Site.  At the same time, please remember that your access to the Project Galileo Site is subject to the following Rules, as well as to all applicable laws.  By accessing and using the Project Galileo Site, you accept and agree to the Rules without limitation or qualification, and acknowledge that any other agreements you may have with Project Galileo Group are superseded by the Rules, to the extent that any conflict may exist.  If you do not agree with these Rules, please do not use the Project Galileo Site.

In addition, please note that the Project Galileo Site has a privacy policy (the “Privacy Policy”) that applies specifically to it.  When visiting websites for other countries or regions, or other websites that are owned or operated by Project Galileo Group, you should review the privacy policy for each specific site, as each may contain different terms.

2.) Use of the Project Galileo Site

Access to and use of the Project Galileo Site is subject to all applicable international, national, and local laws and regulations.  Unless otherwise specifically indicated, you may download material displayed on the Project Galileo Site for personal, non-commercial use only.  You may not distribute, modify, copy, publish, transmit, display, sell, license, use, reuse, or create derivative works of any of the contents of, or material displayed on, the Project Galileo Site, for any public or commercial purpose, without the prior written consent of Project Galileo Group or any third party that Project Galileo Group deems necessary.  You must retain all copyright and other proprietary notices on downloaded and/or copied material.  Any copy of material from the Project Galileo Site that you make and distribute for any purpose must also include these Rules.  You may not access or use the Project Galileo Site in any way that could or is intended to damage or impair the Site, or any server or network underlying the Site, or interfere with anyone else’s use and enjoyment of the Site.

3.) Copyright and Other Proprietary Rights

You should assume that everything on the Project Galileo Site is copyrighted, unless otherwise noted, and that it must not be used except as provided in the Rules, or with the express prior written consent of Project Galileo Group, or any third-party that Project Galileo Group deems necessary.  One or more trademarks, tradenames, and/or patents may also apply to the Site.  Project Galileo Group neither warrants nor represents that your use of the material displayed on the Project Galileo Site will not infringe on the rights of third parties.  Any product, service, program, or technology described on the Project Galileo Site may be the subject of other intellectual property rights (including, but not limited to:  copyright; trademark; or patent rights) owned by Project Galileo Group or any of its subsidiaries or affiliates.  Any such right that is not expressly licensed herein is reserved by Project Galileo Group.

Imagesof people or places displayed on the Project Galileo Site are either the property of, or used with permission by, Project Galileo Group.  Use of these images by you or other third parties is prohibited unless expressly permitted in the Rules, or elsewhere on the Project Galileo Site.  Any unauthorized use of these images may violate copyright laws, trademark laws, patent laws, the laws of privacy and publicity, and other applicable regulations and statutes.

Any product, service, program, or technology described in any document published by Project Galileo Group on the Project Galileo Site may be the subject of other intellectual property rights owned by Project Galileo Group.  Any such right that is not expressly licensed hereunder is reserved by Project Galileo Group.  The trademarks, copyrights, and patents not attributed to Project Galileo Group are the property of their respective owners.

4.) Trademarks and Brand Names

The trademarks, logos, and service marks, whether registered or unregistered (collectively:  the “Trademarks”) displayed on the Project Galileo Site are Trademarks of Project Galileo Group and its affiliates and subsidiaries.  Nothing contained on the Project Galileo Site should be construed as granting, by implication, estoppel, or otherwise any license or right to use any Trademark or trademarked item displayed on the Project Galileo Site without the prior written permission of Project Galileo Group, or such third party that may own the Trademark.  Misuse of any Trademarks, or any other content displayed on the Project Galileo Site, is prohibited.  Project Galileo Group aggressively enforces its intellectual property rights, including via civil and criminal proceedings.

5.) Submissions

Apart from your personal information (which is addressed in the Project Galileo Group Privacy Policy), any communication or material you send to the Project Galileo Site, electronically or otherwise, including, but not limited to:  Comments (see definition below); data; questions; suggestions; or submissions, is and will be treated as non-confidential and non-proprietary, unless otherwise stated in the Privacy Policy (/legal/privacy-policy.html).

Anything you send to the Project Galileo Site may be used by Project Galileo Group for any purpose, including, but not limited to:  reproduction; transmission; disclosure; publication; broadcast; and posting.  By submitting material to www.projectgalileo.com, you irrevocably transfer and assign said material to Project Galileo Group, and forever waive and agree never to assert any copyrights, “moral” rights, or other rights that you may have in such material.  Project Galileo Group is free to use, without obligation of any kind, any ideas, concepts, techniques, or know-how contained in any communication you send to the Project Galileo Site for any purpose whatsoever, including, but not limited to:  developing; manufacturing; and marketing any products or services.

By using the Project Galileo Site, you may submit, or Project Galileo Group may gather, certain limited information about you and your usage of the Project Galileo Site.  Subject to the terms of the Privacy Policy, Project Galileo Group is free to use such information for any purpose it deems appropriate.

In certain areas of the Site, the Site may offer an opportunity for end-users to post and exchange comments representing opinions and information (the “Comments”).  Project Galileo Group does not filter, edit, publish, or review Comments prior to their presence on the Site.  Comments do not reflect the views and opinions of Project Galileo Group or Project Galileo, or their agents and/or affiliates.  Comments specifically reflect the views and opinions of the person who is posting said Comments.

You hereby grant Project Galileo Group the right to use, reproduce, edit, and authorize others to use, reproduce, and edit any of your Comments in any and all forms, formats, or media. Neither Project Galileo Group, nor Project Galileo, shall be liable for any published Comments, or for any liability, damages, or expenses caused and/or suffered as a result of any use of and/or posting of and/or appearance of said Comments on the Site.

Project Galileo Group reserves the right to monitor all Comments, and to remove any Comments which can be considered inappropriate or offensive, or which cause any breach of these Terms of Use.

With respect to Comments, upon accessing the Site, you warrant and represent that:

  • you are entitled to post Comments on the Site, and have all necessary licenses and consents to do so;
  • the Comments you will make do not invade any intellectual property rights, including, without limitation, the copyrights, patents, or trademarks of any third party;
  • the Comments do not contain any defamatory, libelous, offensive, indecent, or otherwise unlawful material which is an invasion of privacy; and
  • the Comments will not be used to solicit or promote businesses or customs, or present commercial activities or unlawful activities.

6.) Hyperlinking to the Site’s Content, and Removal of Links

A.) Automatic Links

The following organizations may link to the Project Galileo Site without prior written approval:

  • government agencies;
  • search engines;
  • news organizations;
  • online directory distributors (who may link to the Site in the same manner as they may hyperlink to the websites of other listed businesses); and
  • system-wide accredited businesses, except soliciting non-profit organizations, charity shopping malls, and charity fundraising groups (which may not hyperlink to the Site).

The above-referenced organizations may link to the Site’s Home Page, to publications, or to other Site information so long as the link:  is not in any way deceptive; does not falsely imply sponsorship, endorsement, or approval of the linking party and its products and/or services; and fits within the context of the linking party’s own site.

B.) Links for which the Requesting Party Must Apply for Acceptance:

Project Galileo Group may consider and approve other link requests from the following types of organizations:

  • commonly known consumer and/or business information sources;
  • com community sites;
  • associations or other groups representing charities;
  • online directory distributors;
  • internet portals;
  • accounting, law, and consulting firms; and
  • educational institutions and trade associations.

Project Galileo Group will approve link requests from the above-referenced organizations if:  (a) the link does not cast Project Galileo Group (including business lines) or Project Galileo in an unfavorable light; (b) the requesting organization does not have any negative records with Project Galileo Group; (c) the benefit to Project Galileo Group and Project Galileo from the visibility of the hyperlink compensates the absence of Project Galileo Group or Project Galileo; and (d) the link is in the context of general resource information.

Said organizations may link to the Project Galileo Site’s Home Page if the link:  (a) is not in any way deceptive; (b) does not falsely imply sponsorship, endorsement, or approval of the linking party and its products or services; and (c) fits within the context of the linking party’s site.

If you are one of the organizations listed in this Paragraph “6.)” – “B.),” and are interested in linking to the Site, then you must first inform Project Galileo Group by sending an e-mail to:  empirewealthmanagement@gmail.com.  Please include your name, your organization’s name, and full contact information, as well as the URL of your website, a list of any URL’s from which you intend to link to the Site, and a list of the URL’s on the website to which you would like to link.  Please be prepared to wait 2-3 weeks for a response.

Approved organizations may hyperlink to the Site, as follows:

  • by use of our corporate name(s), project names, or the name of our Social Awareness Campaign (i.e. “Galileo Rising™”); or
  • by use of the uniform resource locator being linked to; or
  • by use of any other description of the Site being linked to that makes sense within the context and format of the content on the linking party’s website.

No use of Project Galileo’s/Project Galileo Group’s logos, or other artwork that appears on the Site, will be allowed for linking, absent a prior trademark-related license agreement.

C.) iFrames

Without prior approval, and written permission, you may not create frames around our webpages that alter, in any way, the visual presentation or appearance of the Site or any of its contents.

D.) Content Liability

Project Galileo Group shall not be held responsible for any content that appears on your own website.  You hereby agree to protect and defend us against all claims that may arise relating to any connection that may exist or has existed to your own website.  No Site link(s) should appear on any website that may be interpreted as libelous, obscene, or criminal, or which infringe, or otherwise violate, or advocate, the infringement or other violation of any third-party rights.

E.) Reservation of Rights

Project Galileo Group reserves the right to request that you remove all links, or any particular link, to the Site.  You hereby agree to immediately remove all links to the Project Galileo Site upon request by Project Galileo Group.  We also reserve the right to amend these Terms of Use (inclusive of our linking policy) at any time.  By continuously linking to the Site, you agree to be bound to, and follow, these linking-related Terms of Use and conditions.

F.) Removal of Links from the Site

If you find any link on the Site that is offensive for any reason, you are free to contact and inform us at any moment.  We will consider requests to remove links, but we are not obligated to do so, or to respond to you directly.

7.) No Warranties

The information and services provided or referenced on the Project Galileo Site are provided “as is,” and with all faults, and the entire risk as to satisfactory quality, performance, accuracy, and effort is with the end-user.  We do not ensure that the information on the Site is correct, and we do not warrant or represent its completeness, or accuracy.  Nor do we promise to ensure that the Site will remain available, or that the material on the Site will be kept current.  This means that although Project Galileo Group uses reasonable efforts to include accurate and up-to-date information on the Project Galileo Site, Project Galileo Group makes no warranties or representations as to its accuracy.  The Site may also contain forward-looking statements for which Project Galileo Group has no liability.

Concerning links to the Project Galileo Site, Project Galileo Group has not reviewed all of the sites which are or may be linked to the Site, and the fact of such links does not indicate any approval, warranty, or endorsement of any material contained on any linked site.  Project Galileo Group is not responsible for the contents of any website linked to the Project Galileo Site.  Your connection to and use of any such linked site is at your own risk.

8.) Limitations of Liability

Project Galileo Group makes no warranty, either express or implied, that any information or service provided or referenced by the Project Galileo Site is either merchantable or accurate, that such information or service will fulfill any of your particular purposes or needs, or that such information or service does not infringe on any third-party rights.  Project Galileo Group is not liable in any manner whatsoever for any loss or damage, of any nature, connected to your use of the Site.  Project Galileo Group may periodically add, change, or improve any of the information, products, services, programs, or technologies described on the Project Galileo Site, without notice.  Project Galileo Group assumes no liability or responsibility for any forward-looking statements, content, or errors and omissions in the content of the Project Galileo Site.

9.) International Information and The United States

Most of the information on the Project Galileo Site applies internationally, but a significant amount of information applies only to certain countries or regions.  The information contained on the Site does not apply to end-users (Citizens or Permanent Residents or entities) from The United States, and does not constitute an attempt to solicit sales of any physical or digital products or services to such parties.

Although Project Galileo Group makes reasonable attempts to indicate which information is country- and/or region-specific, by including such indications, it does not warrant or represent such.  You should check the applicability of any information on the Project Galileo Site to you or your organization, relevant to the jurisdiction of your citizenship or registered entity, or the jurisdiction from which you are accessing the Site.  If you are a U.S. Citizen or Permanent Resident or entity, then please do not access or use the Project Galileo Site.
