The Shaolin Buddhist Monastery, and other ancient Buddhist Monasteries throughout Asia, have survived into the present era despite numerous destructive historical and social forces. The resurgence of Buddhism in China has brought about both local and global interest in the study and preservation of important historical temples and Buddhist artifacts, the wise philosophies and teachings of the Buddhist Clergy, and the authentic practice of ancient martial arts. The Consortium will be involved in business and charitable and environmental activities within 3 largely Buddhist Countries (China, Macau, and Hong Kong), and Project Galileo’s Buddhist Foundation will be active therein, generating good will and charitable alliances.
